Nanomodified Concrete with Enhanced Characteristics Based on River Snail Shell Powder

The utilization of aquaculture waste, such as snail shells, is a severe issue. These shells are common in water-sources and by-product sifting sand for masonry concrete work. Calcium-rich river great interest cement building materials. In this regard, the purpose article was to develop nanomodified with improved characteristics based on powder shells. Experimental studies have confirmed effectiveness use without decrease strength deterioration other properties. It has been found that optimal replacement by shell replaced amount 6%. By nanomodification powdered snails, it possible achieve an increase compressive up 12%, axial strength—up 8%, tensile bending—up 9%, 11%, elastic modulus—up 8%. Concrete 6% contributed reduction deformations 7%. study microstructure samples obtained dependences cement’s properties nanomodifier dosage, well most effective dosage powder.
